I have stayed at this motel many times, every week for 7 months few years ago. Every time I’m up in the area.. this is my go to place. It’s not fancy, but it’s always clean, nice beds and TVs. And the people that work there are great people. They remember my name and that means something to me.. even after 2 years they remembered. If you’re in the area definitely check them out. The whole property is beautiful, with a couple of good places to eat close by. There’s also couple of good waterfalls and swimming places in the area.

This is a precious little motel/inn. We called last minute and got a room. It was clean and comfortable. Pillows were very comfortable. Bed was firm but comfortable. Good shower. Great hot water and AC worked good.

Have had several relatives stay here over the years and cabins are always clean and welcoming. Make sure to check out the free Native American artifact museum inside. Also a fantastic place to find random keepsake souvenier items, as well as great leather hats, coats, t-shirts and other mountain gear at really great prices. Some of the clothing items are so high quality I'm sure they'd be twice as much at a department store... Not sure how they do it. Lastly, an unadvertised cooler in the back for those beverage essentials, if you get my drift. The museum and gift shop are worth a stop if you're touring the area and want a unique break from your hiking and other area activities.

Hotel is outdated. We stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 different occasions. One room the bathroom heater was broken and had a funky smell. The rooms were pretty clean until you have to move a chair were we found a dirty spoon and food. Plenty of room outside and behind hotel to play in snow and go for walks. Good place for a short stay.

Called to book an accommodation for my family and I to visit attractions in the area. The receptionist I spoke with was very polite and attentive. I ended up having to change my reservation and they did it without question. Upon arrival check in was smooth. Rooms were neat and clean. Plenty of hot water and the heat in the room made it feel like a tropical paradise. No better place to stay in WNC. Anyone who says different is weak.
