My wife and I recently enjoyed a weekend get-away to Natchez for our anniversary. After researching a number of Bed & Breakfast places, we decided on The Clifton House -- because of its proximity to the Mississippi River and its quiet location. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We actually enjoyed going to the Guest House for breakfast each morning. Our server, Henry, was both entertaining and efficient. You can tell he really loves his job. Our communication with the property manager, Jay, was on point. He was incredibly helpful and eager to answer questions and make recommendations. Natchez is a wonderful place to visit. There's so much history here -- not just as it applies to the state of Mississippi but to the whole country. We highly recommend a visit!
Beautiful house absolutely the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. Unbeatable view of the Mississippi River. Will book another trip!
Comfortable. The experience of sitting on the porch watching the river and ships coming past is very nice. However after visiting a plantation on the day before the house is a huge contrast in many aspects.
Best view up and down the Mississippi River. Sunset and sunrise will feed your soul.
