My daughter and I went to New Orleans for spring break 2021. We stay at this lovely little hotel smack in the middle of the French Quarters. The Andrew Jackson Hotel was the perfect hotel for us to receive a true New Orleans experience. The history of the hotel played a fun role in our trip as the 2 haunted tours we took, both made a stop at our hotel to tell the story of the hotel. The staff member Will was especially great, he was very helpful, knowledgeable and a true professional.nnWe will be back.
This hotel is in the details. The staff is welcoming. The hotel itself is charming and has a rich history. It is in a fantastic location. Right outside the door is everything you most likely want to experience in the French quarter. Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side compared to a franchise hotel and you do have to pay to park in a parking lot which adds to the expense but it's worth it if you are looking for an authentic New Orleans experience.
Fantastic staff and wonderful rooms! We loved sitting outside either on the courtyard or on the gallery. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
My Family stayed here for 2 nights in October 2020 during Aftermath of a Hurricane. This Hotel was Only one we could find with Power!!! Anyways, beds were Comfy. No Breakfast or Valet due to Coved and that was ok with us. TV Remote didn't work. We brought DVD PLAYER for my Son and Couldn't Hook it up. Furniture is OLD. We asked for 1st floor room cause of my Mom's Back/Knee Problems. We were told nothing was Available on 1st floor, then we found out that wasn't True. My hubby and I loved sitting On balcony enjoying our Drinks. This Hotel needs some Renovations/Deep Cleaning. May b look into an Elevator for Handicapped Guests.
I just checked out of this cute little hotel. It is a fabulous little place in New Orleans. I had a room in the rear patio. The room was small and very clean and well appointed. I did have a car and the hotel could not park it due to Covid, so they gave me a couple of options for my vehicle. I loved, loved the reception employees. They were funny and knew what was opened and what was closed. There were so many place closed due to the pandemic. Will at the desk was witty and sent me to a delicious restaurant my last night. I will be back.
