The staff was the best part of my stay. Such friendly outgoing and helpful individuals. The location is amazing, everything was walking distance.nMy room was alright but the light in the living area was completely useless. The heater was so loud it was hard to sleep and the couch had unknown stains that were absolutely gross.
Very reasonably priced hotel in the perfect spot! 1 min walk to the start of the French Quarter & a few blocks from bourbon street! Also the hotel has an open ceiling with a patio set outside of each hotel room which I’ve never seen before!! Absolutely will stay here again!
Lovely place to stay. Close to all the attractions within walking distance to everything . 2 rooms suites with a kitchenette but very limited parking within the grounds so park it and walk will actually help save some money
Staff was simply amazing! Friendly, clean and so charming! The location is perfect for exploring the French Quarter on foot. We didn't have to drive anywhere. Neighborhood was walkable and safe. We will definitely be returning to Hotel de la Monnaie!
Good, outdated hotel. You get what you paid for. Great location. But not enough got water to take a long shower or a bath. Ac/heater was loud. And we couldn't figure out how to set it overnight. It's an older unit, hard to tell what temp it's set on.
