The location is great. Close enough to walk all over the French quarter. The property is nice, but there was a loud hum in our room coming from right outside our window. Will was friendly and a big help with our luggage. He may have been the best part of our stay there.
This hotel is well located a few steps from the canal st trolley and just a few blocks from the French quarter. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable, overlooking a very busy and noisy Decatur street. At this time, there are no crowds and some attractions have limited availability, like the aquarium. The French market was still open with fewer vendors, and the casino was deserted but you can still have a great stay. And some great food!
Stayed in both the one bedroom and two bedroom suites; both were gorgeous and more than comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and polite. There's two beautiful sundecks to relax on. Unfortunately, the store wasn't open during our stay, so I cannot speak to anything negative or positive about it. Even after having said all this, the most alluring to me was the undeniable and immediate sense of history. Though beautiful, it was unspoken knowledge that building had seen more than anyone could imagine. Maybe I've romanticized it more than I should have, but it's this reason that would draw me back even if all else was horrible.
My room was aesthetically beautiful. Pristine and clean. My stay was serene. Located in the French Quarters, many tourist attractions are within walking distance. The staff was very professional and courteous. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Beautiful! I loved the chairs they are funky and hidden through out the hotel, along with these feet statues! Fun, but still elegant and cozy!
