Awesome historical place, well worth visiting and very friendly staff!nn3 stars because...nWhen booking online, it says the cost is $37 a night and then when checking out they add a $39 cleaning fee making it around $85 a night with tax.nWe had a late check in and no instructions were emailed to us of how to get in so we had to wait for the staff to text us because they don't answer calls.nnAll that to say, we'd still stay again because the staff is nice and the whole stay is unique!

Every aspect of my stay here was delightful, from booking to check-out. The room was stunning. It was a bright, airy two-room suite with beautiful hardwood floors, 2 white marble baths, and an impossibly comfortable king bed. Huge windows on 3 walls created a lovely cross breeze through the 2 rooms (I felt safer staying in a place with lots of fresh air in light of covid). A private balcony runs the length of the building and is framed by lush trees from the courtyard below. Easy walk to everywhere. Zak and team were awesome. My only regret was not being able to thank them in person :)

The balcony guest house is an awesome place to hang out for a weekend or longer the owner was very helpful very nice couldn't ask for a better owner those a small issue with a laundry fire due to the chef or supposed chef washing or drying and washed kitchen towels in a gas dryer which was taken care of immediately they compass a meal which was very good will be staying there again because of the owner and his politeness and apologies for everything that happened !nIf you want a nice weekend or longer off in the cut away from the madness with a beautiful balcony overlooking Saint Claude this is the place to go!

Great location. Not expensive and walkable to the Quarter and tons of nightlife. Easy check in and room access. Street parking was readily available. Several cafés nearby for morning coffee.n***If you are a light sleeper this might not be the place for you! There is a rail line nearby and trains are running at all hours. I am a heavy sleeper so this was not a problem for me.nLove this place and will stay here in the future.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. When I arrived I walked into the bar restaurant that is attached to the hotel and the bartender yelled out the door code for both the front entrance and my room. A patron followed me out taunting me that he new the codes by reciting them over and over again to me. The room was gross!! There was someone else’s hair on the towels, shower, and sheets. I had to run the water for 15 minutes before hot water would come out. The water pressure in the shower is a joke- slight trickle at best. The staff was rude. There is no hotel parking, just off street parking. No control of the heat in the room and I had to fight the maintenance man for a space heater. The staff is rude af! Don’t stay here!!
