I hired this company to replace my roof a few years ago. Along with many shortcuts I have noticed over the last couple of years, I just found out they didn't reinstall the bathroom vent cap.nnThe hole for the vent has been shingled over so the bathroom fan would blow into the attic space and under the layer of shingles which would have trapped moisture between the shingles and plywood sheeting. Luckily my bathroom fan has been broken since I moved into this house and I found the problem when I finally went up to replace the fan. I know it originally had a roof vent because the hole was drilled in the plywood sheeting and the vent pipe had leaf debris in it.nnThey also reused the old broken turbine vent that had rusted off it's shaft so it doesn't spin anymore.
For a company that should stand behind their work, they really did a crappy job on my parents home and now refuse to answer the phone calls to have them remedy the situation. The siding is loose and they cut corners to fix their mistakes. If you don't know what you're doing, don't be in that business.
