I would give this place 5 stars but when I asked for my credit card imprint back after dropping the bike off I was told it was already shredded. I found this suspicious and unnerving. In the days of credit card fraud I 100% expect them to be shredded in front of me or given back to me. This is the only time I was told it was already shredded.nn9/30/20 update: To the owner of Gale Force Bike Rentals, thank you for replying and explaining this to me. I appreciate that you acknowledge this challenge for people like me who are being ultra careful with cc info. Otherwise, again, 5 stars!! Excellent service and bikes!

This place has a great bike service shop. I dropped by with my 30-year-old mountain bike for a new derailleur cable and received focused and thorough attention. I ended up fixing more things because they were so careful and so well-stocked. I have used many bike mechanics over the years and I can say with authority that these guys are first rate.

Great experience. We rented three bikes from Gale Force Bikes for a half day, we kept them longer and the process to extend the rental was simple. We returned them after they had closed, everything was clearly marked. The bikes were in great shape and the helmets were good quality, locks also provided. We got a flat tire while biking and one of our seats came loose, someone came right out and fixed them. Excellent all around customer service and experience.

We rented 3 bikes, friendly service, free helmets and locks included. The guy said if you should have a problem just call us and we’ll bring you another bike. Unfortunately, my bike had some issues so we called, they said 20 minutes. We joked that maybe we see someone in an hour....In EXACTLY 20 minutes they arrived, presented me with a cold bottle of water, apologized, and swapped my bike for a perfectly running one. Excellent! Friendly and professional, great bikes too.
