Stanimals is more home than hostel. As soon as you enter, the cozy kitchen and dining table offer a warm and relaxing environment. We stayed in a private room upstairs, and the beds were super comfortable. There are hot showers, laundry and all the amenities a hiker could want. A very wonderful experience!
Great place and greater people. Hospitality is unmatched. I’m definitely coming back through here. Didn’t want to leave.
BOTH of Stanimal’s hostels are THE BEST. They are clean, comfortable, and the staff is super chill. They have everything a hiker needs and more. You will not find a better hostel on trail (at least I haven’t yet)

Stanimal's was great helping me slackpack through a particularly hot and humid stretch of a section hike. They worked with me to create a good drop off and pickup schedule, gave a loaner pack, and would stop on the way to/from to get cold drinks after the hike.nnThe staff is very friendly and made me feel very welcome during my stay. The house is comfortable, and convenient to a store and a restaurant.nnBottom line, Stanimal's is a great hiker resource!
