On 3/13 I had an appointment to receive a COVID vaccination. Including the 15 minutes to sit and wait after the shot, I was in and out in under 40 minutes. Check in was electronic via text, the check in person handed me a vaccination card, there were seats 6-feet apart set aside just for those being vaccinated, there was a lady with a clip board directing people to the vaccination area, the woman who vaccinated me was efficient and fast, and there were more seats set aside for recovery. Whoever set this process up deserves a couple of gold stars.

Sent me the link for the video with instructions way too late (I was on the road driving). Get here and there are no signs in visible spots for covid testing. After a few laps around the build I realized they put the sign right where people who are picking up their prescriptions easily block it with their vehicle. I get in line and at a full stop to be able to watch the video where it also says use the drive thru. This would be better if I had the instructions prior or better sign placement.

As this pharmacy has gotten more popular, and that end of James City County keeps developing, the pharmacy drive thru takes longer, the pharmacy takes longer to fill subscriptions, the inside check out lines get longer. I need to find a pharmacy that can still see me as a person and not a number.

Guy at drive thru refused to help me by getting zinc, even when I explained that I’m waiting on Covid test results...therefore not going into store. Even when I said I’m alone and asking for help. Told me to order online and pick up or have it shipped. The zinc in the store is only available for in store purchase. So much for kindness and being in this together.

The drive up coronavirus testing area is self admistered. The people passing out the test is so rude.
