Amazing value for the price. At 25% the price of the next closest hotel/motel we were cautious but really tired from driving all night. We needed a place to sleep up before returning to the road. It's not the four seasons by far, but it was way better than sleeping in a rest area. The shower was nice and hot, the heater worked well, and it was really quiet while we slept. There isn't a free breakfast or even a hair dryer but we got the rest we needed for a hell of a bargain. I'd stay again given the circumstances.
Myself and my partner were Team Driving, hauling a load of cargo trailers from Douglas, Georgia to Newburgh, NY. Our truck broke down off of 1-95N, just before the Kings Dominion exit! The staff allowed us to hangout in the front lobby, so we wouldn’t be sitting in a broke down truck just off the interstate (Very Dangerous). We spent half the day trying to find a Diesel Shop, so we ended up staying for one night. The Hotel Manager took great care of us, and gave us an excellent rate (Thanks Again)!! They offer free breakfast. The restaurant has been closed down. They don’t clean the rooms good at all. A drawer was broken on the dresser that had dead flies In it. The sham on the bed had not been cleaned. I wish I could add a picture of it. If we would have seen it earlier we would have left. I emailed the general manager and they have never gotten back to me. This place is disgusting. Will never go back.
This was truly excellent as always. Cleo is the most professional and customer oriented person I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. People take time to complain and should take the time when experience is great too. Thankyou Cleo for being amazing and for making our stay exellent
Well the facility is really REALLY run down. I stayed here in 2004 and now 2019. Rooms need maintenance! The staff are SO SO kind. We had a mold issue and they moved us quickly. Hoping new ownership improves the building.
