Dirty room, despite having been told that the room was cleaned, we found it to be pretty dirty. More than one person's hair on the bathroom floor and tub. In the age of COVID we found it disconcerting. The door would stick, seemingly locked but it wasn't - jiggling and pulling would get it to open. The whole hotel seemed threadbare including the room, the curtains only partially worked/closed. The area was iffy too. We were so uncomfortable we stayed four hours to get a bit of rest and left. The lone staff person who checked us in, was very nice but did not wear a mask or appear to take any precautions. I did not notice any extra sanitation measures in the hotel at all.

The check in lady was wonderful! Efficient and friendly.nAlso recommended a terrific restaurant.nHotel was very very clean but needed a bit of updating .nCoffee 24/7 in the lobby was much appreciated . Grab and go breakfast eas good. Lots of choices.

The lady who checked me in Friday morning May 22nd around 3:00 am was wonderful! Service was quick and efficient. The room was clean. I needed this..l was really having a horrible early morning. Thank you for helping me!!!!

This place has bugs. I had to move 2 rooms and there are bugssssssss. The bugs are dead and not moving stain all over. Anyone that says the hotel rooms are nice is a bot. The staff are friendly. But there are bugssss

I have stayed here twice. The first time I was returning to Fredericksburg and wanted to stay at a hotel in Fredericksburg (preferably the holiday inn Fredericksburg-southpoint) but all the hotels had no rooms available. So I found this Holiday Inn. I was hesitant to stay here since it is at some random exit from I-95 but once I got here everything is fine. The front desk staff are friendly and extremely pleasant. The breakfast is good as usual with holiday inn express. The first time I stayed I was given a room on the ground floor which has nice high ceilings. The rooms are spacious and have a colonial feeling. I returned to Fredericksburg a month or two later and immediately chose this hotel without looking anywhere else first. I reccomend this hotel if you need to do business or be in Fredericksburg for any reason or as just a travel stop for the night if you are traveling.
