Went to get my medicine and wanted to use my Care Credit to pay for it. Went to the drive thru and they said that they accept Care Credit. So as I’m sitting there for 10 minutes and they come back and said my card won’t accept the charge, so I leave and go home and call Synchrony Bank. Well, I was told that you cannot use CareCredit at CVS. I’m confused as to why the employees at CVS wouldn’t know that instead of trying to run my card over and over. I will be changing my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

As a pharmacy for prescriptions, this place is terrible. The drive thru is always backed up. If you stand at the counter, it's not uncommon to be ignored for several minutes before someone looks up with disgust to acknowledge you. The store itself is clean and organized and staffed by typically friendly people, but if you need an Rx filled, I recommend the CVS in Target a few minutes away. Much faster and their customer service blows this place out of the water.

This CVS store is located at 9498 Charter Gate Drive in Mechanicsville, Virginia and it is a typical CVS.nnStaff here is nice and helpful, though the place can get busy and there are not a lot of people working there at any given time... so sometimes it takes a few minutes to check out.nnProducts are as usually found in a CVS. Vitamins. Tylenol. Band Aides. Wine.... yes, wine. Prices are more expensive that if you find the same item at the Food Lion next door, but that is not unusual.nnTheir pharmacy handles typical insurance companies, and we have had no issues with service. Nice place, if you need a pharmacy.
