A gem in the heart of Fredericksburg.
Oldest soda fountain in the US. Their Turkey sandwich with chips is amazing and reminds me of home. Don’t forget to grab a cherry coke or Vanilla Coke.
Twice, this humble, non-franchise pharmacy was able to fill prescriptions for my severely disabled baby that CVS was incapable of filling! And running an errand here downtown becomes a fun trip when you can get a homemade root beer shake from their old-fashioned soda bar (gotta try it to appreciate it) while picking up a prescription.
Great place all around. The pharmacists are super helpful and always remember my name and the counter staff are always very nice and make the most awesome cherry milkshakes in the world! Great people make a great business. Would absolutely recommend stopping in and checking them out.
Enjoyed a great sandwich, egg salad, pickle, macaroni salad and peppermint sent to Mill Park Terrace. Very much appreciated. Thank you so much. I look forward to visiting for more of your menu items and meeting you all.
