I had a water leak that required replacement of flooring, walls and paintwork/trim in my new construction condo. The craftsmanship and quality of work is far superior to the original finishes. Mark Little and his crew were wonderful to work with! Mark was responsive, helpful, and accommodating when scheduling the repair. The crew were punctual, and prompt in their work. They were also respectful while working. We will absolutely seek them out if any future work is needed for our home!

Abacus just finished replacing our old roof deck boards with high end trex on our current roof deck. We were very confident they would deliver another successful job after replacing our old rotting roof deck boards on our rental unit roof deck on Marlborough Street two years prior.nnMark and his team (Catrina & Ger) were always accessible, professional, responsive and always communicating from my initial outreach to final walk through. Mark took many of my calls late in the evening and on weekends. I can't say that many contractors in Boston(or in general) would ever do that and be as responsive and communicate as much as Mark did. Expectations were always agreed upon, but Mark was very flexible and understanding when small, last minute requests or changes were made.nnGer and the work crews were always on time, courteous and clean throughout both projects. Both projects were on 4th floor walkups. Four flights of stairs are never easy, but the guys handled them with ease coming and going and were very respectful of all of our neighbors in the building. We did have some delays in getting permits approved through ISD, but this is typical and covid didn't help. This was out of Mark's control, but overall, both projects were completed on budget and on time. Anyone that has done major renovations in Boston should be prepared and have some patience with the permitting approval process.nnOriginally I was not aware of all of their services Abacus provided, but I would highly recommend Abacus for all of your roof deck replacements and we will look to utilize them for future project needs.

My condo had a cracked foundation and slab with significant settlement issues. Abacus repaired the structural issues, replaced interior tile and doors impacted by the settlement, and installed a new HVAC system. They were extremely responsive, managed the challenges of structural repairs with thoughtful solutions and recommendations, and came in on budget. Highly recommend Mark and team.
