Great location close to everything in Boston. Lots of restaurants around and coffee shops. The owner is very friendly and the house is beautiful.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The owner John is very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. He also is a great cook as every morning he prepared breakfast with a wonderful spread of food. Both my husband and I enjoyed being able to talk to him after breakfast to share some stories and some laughs. I highly recommend staying at the Nolan house if you are visiting the Boston area. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.
What a great experience! John and Kathy Nolan are amazing hosts and my out of town guests had a wonderful experience staying there. The house was built in 1864 and the rooms are very comfortable. Nice amenities and roof deck with a magnificent view of Boston! An interesting art collection from all over the world covers the walls and stories from John to go with it. The Sunday breakfast was pancakes and fruit and yogurt. A great, historic, quiet place to stay right in the heart of South Boston.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a weekend. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and our shared bathroom was kept very clean. Mr. Nolan is quite pleasant. He served an excellent breakfast of good variety both mornings with yogurt, English muffins, orange juice, hot tea and coffee, with eggs, pancakes, and/or breakfast meats. We would happily stay again!
Such a nice man I would come back and reserve another day
