Wilderness Place Lodge Inclusive Alaska Fishing

We have traveled to a good number of fly-in Alaska fishing lodges. Wilderness Place Lodge by far had the highest level of hospitality and greatest balance when it came to fishing experience and quality of service. A beautiful river and very kind and helpful people. Thank you!

Went way out of their way to help our diverse family plan an extremely unique Alaska experience. Communication, response and patience was top-rate throughout the reservation process. Then, the most accommodating and friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and cared for each of our needs and then some. What a place. Thank you all.

We were very disappointed on how we were treated when we had to cancel due to Covid travel restrictions. They kept a significant portion of our deposit when everyone else provided full refunds and an incentive to rebook. We were more than willing to move our reservation to next year however they asked for prepayment in full AND +5%! Proceed with caution!

The entire expirience exceeded all of our expectations. The staff, the lodging, the food, and of course the fishing were all amazing expiriences.nnEven the flights there and back are an expirience second to none. Our guide offered us a variety of options and was an excellent teacher both in angling and the biology of the amazing fish we were targeting or watching swim past us by the hundreds.nnI really cannot recommend this trip enough!

By far the best fly fishing experience we have ever had. We are returning this summer after a year off. Looking forward to our trip.
