Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown

The staff here is amazing and seemingly wants every patron to feel respected. The hotel rooms were very nice and all the bathroom fixtures new. The full size shower stall worthy of two people was fun. I appreciated how accepting the staff was about pets. We picked up a rescue dog to Air Cargo back to SE Alaska for some friends, told the front desk about the dog, and they told us we don’t have to change rooms but it was simply a $75 non-refundable fee. The bummer was they didn’t have a scale for weighing baggage which caused us to drive to Target just before 10pm the night before our flight to purchase one for the hotel.

I loved everything about this place. Great service, great facilities. Vishnu at the front desk was so helpful! Brought a great energy. Thanks to all the staff for their great serving hearts!

The hotel was immaculate! Has to be the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly. They had plenty of hand sanitizer stations around as well. The pool was open as well as the hot tub, the jets were not currently working on the hot tub but that didn’t bother us, it was still very relaxing to just sit in the hot tub without the jets.

Centrally located. Clean rooms, affordable winter rates. Whole building water filtration system- drinkable and you do not smell like chlorinated Anchoragua water after showering.

This is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Even with the Covid restrictions, we still felt comfortable and didn’t miss a thing. Breakfast was still served every morning with a good deal of options. You could still use the gym and pool (reservations have to be made in order to practice social distancing). I’d recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
