Copper Whale Inn

This place was awesome. The owner somehow was able to call us by name right when we walked in, gave us a quick tour, and handed us our keys. It was a flawless first impression. Beautiful views. Old-timey feel. I'd definitely go again.

From the moment the owner answered the phone I knew we were in for a great experience. My wife and I really wanted to take a fat tire bike ride on the coastal trail at night, and this place was perfect!nnWe walked (literally) next door to have a wonderful take away dinner from Simon & Seafourt’s before riding out our front door to ride the trail. The rooms were perfectly sized for our little downtown excursion/date-night.nnI would highly recommend this quaint little slice of history, and send my closest friends and relatives here. The views are phenomenal and it has the hospitality to match. I loved strolling into downtown the next morning to see the heart of the city, shops, food, etc.nnWhy am I limited to only five stars!!!

This place is one of the best buns that I have ever stayed at. I just love this place and will definitely be back when I come back to Anchorage.

If you want to feel like you’re walking into a Hallmark movie, stay here!! I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Anchorage.
