Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup

Excellent hotel with extremely caring, professional, courteous staff. I hold a top status with Marriott and travel their properties a lot. From the standpoint of care and staff - this property is in the top one percentile. Great work! Needless to say the rooms and common areas were very clean, secure accessible parking, etc. Thank you for our great stay! (We were hiking Mt Rainier to Camp Muir and back and this was a great base for our trip).

Amazing staff. The best I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Kristina is the most helpful and cheerful person I have EVER encountered in the hospitality industry. She deserves recognition for her upbeat and positive attitude. And it's obvious that she loves her job.

A solid Fairfield property. Unusual lot with parking on the hill behind and a small/tall hotel footprint. Had a small issue with the first room having a musty smell from the AC but staff were very professional and quick to move me to another room. Rooms were a tad dated but very clean. Would recommend.

If I was rating my experience here based on the customer service, I’d give them 10 stars! The level of customer service has been absolutely top notch! The rooms are slightly small and the beds aren’t great, but overall the place is clean with easy access to the freeway.

I've seen other comments about the noise from the freeway but I didn't notice the noise from the room only of course outside. Most hotels are near the freeway anyway for easy access for customers during travel. Anyhow,nCONS : the rooms are a little outdated, the TV is smaller than other hotels and positioned in front of one bed rather than the center and can be a major strain on the neck. The TV situation is probably the worst of it all.nPROS : the rooms were very clean, the hotel was also, the staff was very very nice, they also serve grab n go breakfast but not just the regular mini muffins like other places. There's a variety of items to choose from. The beds are comfy (just the strain from the TV), the area is clean, no nosey employees lurking around. There's not much to complain about at all.
