Nice waterfront location in a cute town. Friendly, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms. The restaurant and spa are both currently closed though. (Whidbey has very few restaurants open with in driving distance of here and on a Monday night there was only a pizzeria and a Mexican spot available. We chose Mexican and it was horrible.) We will come back to this hotel when the spa and restaurant re-open since the local options are so limited...
Top class hotel. Worth every penny. Customer service is next level, don’t hesitate to ask for anything you might need to elevate your stay.
First of all this place is not a 3-star hotel. This is a boutique 5-star place. We stayed here many times pre-covid and this is our first time after COVID started. The place has outstanding safety process in place and is as excellent as it was before. Food is the best on the island even the free breakfast that is now served to the room is gourmet.
Amazing experience here during Covid.nnThe inn at Langley is well known among locals as one of the most luxurious and relaxing hotels on Whidbey island. Located in Langley, short 20 min drive from the port at Clinton. Amazing sweeping views of Saratoga bay with plenty of outdoor seating. Town of Langley is literally a 1 min walk with plenty of great eateries.nnFront desk is only staffed 9AM to 6PM (highly recommended to get there at that time due to amazing complimentary snacks). Super friendly - we arrived after 9PM however but our keys were ready in a lockbox. Parking can be a bit tight but plenty of street parking if needed.nnRooms are on 4 levels, no elevator but small property so very short haul. Got a room on the top floor, decent sized bedroom with two armchairs and small tables for eating purposes. Large comfy king bed, amazing bathroom space and soaking tub. Some of the best bath products from three sisters, super luxurious. Also free bath salts and log for the fireplace. Large outdoor balcony you could pitch a tent on if you want (though cold and windy). Unfortunately no wildlife sighting except birds.nnAlso. The complimentary breakfast is shaving. Some of the best avocado toast i had, and even the simple yogurt, fruit, granola, and hard boild eggs with truffle salt was great. They freshly bake their own goods, not to be missed.
We have stayed here several times, but first time reviewing. Once we arrived our anxiety was immediately alleviated due to the rules and cleanliness The Inn upholds to ensure guest safety and comfort. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. There was no need to use my Clorox wipes, speak to front desk and there are no common areas to worry about. You’re surrounded by calming water and the small, ghost-like town of Langley. Because it is during the summer Langley was a little busy, but after 7-8pm, crickets. The smallest complaint (because we were looking forward to having breakfast on our balcony), breakfast was dry and inedible (I know, small complaint). I cannot say enough about the Inn at Langley! We often road trip around Washington State to boutique hotels and any little nook we can find, but THIS PLACE is one of the best. Thanks Inn at Langley for providing us with such beauty! P.S.- we left a few items in our room and they sent them ASAP. Always so lovely.
