Blue Heron Inn

Beautiful place. Rooms are nice, clean and quite. Small theater downstairs with a decent selection of movies. Right off the river with great views.

The Blue Heron Inn is an incredible place right off the freeway! This was the last night of our vacation so we were really looking forward to it! The Inn is so beautiful, well kept, and has the perfect touches! Sitting out on the private balcony watching the wildlife drink from the river was so awesome! The reviews definitely didn’t disappoint, the breakfast is nothing short of amazing! The Innkeepers are so sweet and personable! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We absolutely love the Blue Heron Inn. We have stayed there for most of the major events in our life and we have zero regrets. The owners are amazing, very kind and accommodating. The grounds and rooms are gorgeous and well kept, and the breakfasts are 5 star quality. We plan to keep coming back here as often as we can, and recommend anyone else looking for a peaceful getaway does also.nnDid I mention they have a hot tub and a killer theater room?

Stayed here on the way back to Boise after a weekend at Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, which is by the way only an hour of that. The owners are some of the friendly people I’ve met in my travel and I’ve been a lot of places in the USA, Europe Central America, and the Middle East. The breakfast was great and friendly round table conversation. The inn is located of the Snake River (which you can fish) and there is a beautiful walking path along the way, you might even see a moose. Bear world is about a mile id down the street if that’s something you want to take your kids too. Idaho Falls is only a quick 20 minute drive into town and there are great little restaurants located there. This a just an all around great place, stay away from the towns that sit right on Yellowstone (West Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, etc), it’s highway robbery with the price of lodging, food, and gas.

This place is absolutely amazing! I loved everything about it the food the service the owners! They are such sweet humble people! Great for family(smaller kids to run around) it was worth the drive the money! Highly recommend
