Montana Perfection. I'm almost reluctant to write a review because I don't want everyone to know about this beautiful and magical place. The location is ideal, the friendly and helpful staff were so accommodating and friendly. I mean the owner is an authentic hard-working yodeling cowboy. Many nights he can be found at the resort campfire with a good story and with enough coaxing a good ol' cowboy song. We stayed in one of the larger cabins (all 15 of us) and everyone agreed it was one of the best vacations ever.
I highly recommend Wilderness Edge to anyone seeking a true Montana experience that includes beautiful scenery, spotless accommodations, and easy access to mountain lakes, fly fishing, and hiking. You will not find a more friendly and hospitable host than Mark at the Wilderness Edge!
Visited twice here this summer. Great place for families. Or even as a single. All lodging is pristine and adds to the experience of staying here. Lots of hiking, wildlife viewing and boating/kayaking opportunities. We will definitely be back again next year. Staff is the best there is.
Didn't stay in one of the cabins, but I rented a kayak, and Mark there was very helpful and friendly. Cabins looked so quaint and fun, and it's a gorgeous location!
Great place to unwind after leaving yellowstone or just visiting the area. Completely surrounded by mountains and a Great Lake. Very accommodating staff and supper clean cabins. We stayed in the Aspen and loved every minute. Great family gathering place. Hope to go back someday. Seasonal accommodations only.
