Yellowstone RV Park at Mack's Inn

We loved the park! It’s definitely not the closest RV park to Yellowstone, but it’s definitely the nicest. Every other one we saw closer to or in West Yellowstone was cramped and had VERY few trees, if any at all. This place gives you that feel that you’re camping in the woods. The bathroom/shower we used was very nice. It was newly remodeled, had a very spacious shower, lots of hot water and was a single, private room with a toilet and sink too. It was easy to give my kids a shower without feeling cramped or like we were in a public bathroom. My kids loved the playground. We could purchase ice and firewood 24/7 by charging to our account and have it delivered. This was very convenient. The area was also very nice. We recommend visiting Upper Mesa Falls and renting a razor to cruise around the local trails. All in all our experience was very positive and we would stay there again if in the area.

Facility is nice. Pads are generally pretty level. Improvements (interior roads and pads) are a bit more primItive than other sites I have been in other areas of the country, but are very consistent to better than other parks in the area. Power, sewer, and water improvements were great. This site also has mature trees that offer welcome afternoon shade. Many of the other parks in the area are without trees or have immature trees.nThe service was very good. James Purdue is the manager and works very hard to accommodate any needs you may have. There is a small store/office that offers supplies you may have forgotten.nThe park is well situated in Island Park and close to West Yellowstone. It is priced competitively with other parks. My overall experience was great.

The nicest people! We really enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone RV Park. We were in the area for a family reunion, and this was a great home base. It's a lovely, naturalized location and the owners/managers are so kind and accommodating. This park is convenient to West Yellowstone, Mesa Falls and Big Springs. You can walk down to Mack's Inn for Pizza or Ice Cream. There is an efficient little grocery store just down the road at Robin's Roost. All in all a great experience!

Upon arrival we were greeted with an escort to our site. James was very helpful in backing our coach into a spot. This is requirement since it prevents damage to others. Great idea. The site was clean and the amenities of the park area were great. Rafting down the Yellowstone river, ATV with local company, bike trail riding, close to Yellowstone National Park. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and went beyond to help us especially with the connection of WIFI. I would definitely visit this site again. Bathroom, shower, and laundry new. Great place.

Mack's staff and area was amazing. They insist on helping you in EVERY time you park. The bathrooms and paths are kept clean and tighty. Wood is pricey so go to a gas station to save some bucks. The river is in with walking distance and my 2 year old nephew made it. Fly fishing on this river is the best.
