I’m a painter I travel to the valley often. It’s safe to say 50% of my life is spent in hotels. I’ve tried many in valley county. This is by far the best and the reason I’m WILLING to pay a little extra. If you’re passing through it’s a great stop if you’re planning on a longer duration stay it’s the ONLY stop.
The room was very nice however there was a face mask hanging from the ceiling, what was that all about? Also on the bed nearest the window there was some kind of splatter on the headboard. I don't even want to know what that was, but it was pretty gross. Because of those two reasons I gave a four-star rating instead of five.
The hotel itself was nice and there was a decent breakfast.nnThe woman behind the desk at the hotel was very rude upon check out though. A short lady, blonde hair, middle aged lady with glasses! I want even get into all the ways that she was rude but she just had such a bad attitude and really didn't care if we stayed there next time or not. It seemed that she had a bad day or just hated her job.nnI recommend the hotel but I do not recommend the staff.nnI did complain to the manager about His insubordinate employee. He really didn't seem to care and I knew he wouldn't be doing anything about it. I wouldn't stay here since there are so many other choices of hotels.nnI had a much better pleasant stay and the hotel was actually nicer at the Best Western just half mile up the street on past trips. Also the hotel McCall is about $20 cheaper per night!
The hotel was very warm and welcoming. Rooms were cozy and easy to relax in. Only thing we found wrong with the room that was a bit unpleasant was some trash under both beds. It left us feeling like they didn't really clean the rooms that well especially in the time of a pandemic.
The hotel is nice. I stayed 3 weeks for work. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. The wifi isn't great. You will want to have a backup plan for internet. Some rooms are okay, others not so much. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I slept well.
