Cedar Inn & Suites

It is the cheapest place to stay in South Lake Tahoe... I've stayed at several of the surrounding motels and they are all very comparable to amenities and age and dinginess.... this is a bit dirtier than the others, true, but... those leaving 1-star reviews are a bit harsh in my opinion. This place is always the cheapest place to stay and if you're staying at the cheapest place among 30+ other motels I think you should accept and expect what you are paying for. I don't even leave reviews online often but I wanted to for them mostly because I feel like the staff deserve it (very friendly and helpful) and I did stay here 2 years ago and I believe their updates to the room make it much more accommodating than in the past.

I'd give this place a zero if possible..nThis is the worst place I've even been to.nWe payed for 2 queen beds got one bed & sofa couch, TV didn't work or have any service, heater didn't work it was 26° that night lucky we brought extra blankets. No towels we couldn't shower that night, To top it off none of the power outlets worked to charge our electric devices. Called to complaine they said would send someone to fix it. No one ever showed up. We payed for 2 nights only stayed one. Was pointless to deal with them since all we got is a run around..nNot once did they try to comidate or try switching us to a different room.. worst experience ever save your money this place over priced should be changing 20 dollars a night on how the rooms look like. Rooms look nothing like there website False advertising

I canceled with an agent on booking . Com and said no charge . But I got charged my the hotel anyway . The lady I spoke to was rude and said I was a no show ( not correct ) and she hung up on me. I would not suggest this place to anyone.

I made a mistake in booking a non-refundable room for family of 4. After numerous phone call and email attempts to fix the situation with bookings.com and hotel, I heard nothing back from hotel management. That was extremely unprofessional and rude of them to disregard consumer concerns. At least confirm no refund or partial refund! Customer service is extremely poor and rooms are crowded. Our double door literally open to the first bed. We were given only 1 bath towel. Like seriously? I've traveled a lot but to sleep and given only 1 towel for a family of four is not OK. There was no coffee machine, clock, tissue box, and phone to call front desk. With no AC, we had to open our hotel door in the middle of the night to let in cool air just so we can sleep through the night because windows are blocked to open all the way out. Location is fairly close to the casino and beach and could've been a quiet area to sleep. Unfortunately, we spent the night away with partying neighbors right upstairs and next door who were drunk, yelling, stomping, and loud music until 3 am in the morning. Though the beds were ok, my kids and I didn't have a good night sleep here at all. If you're looking to relax and sleep well, find elsewhere. It's not worth the money and headache!
