Walgreens

This place is the saddest excuse for a pharmacy. The pharmacist was condescending with major attitude. The prescription was placed a few days ahead and when we arrived it was not in the system. Once it was located there was an issue on their side with the insurance. Then we had to wait to get it filled. We were quoted 3 different prices. 3? Finally had to pay the higher price. No explanation provided. Opened the bag and the supposedly sealed prescription was opened with the contents leaked out. Took the product back and the pharmacist made it a point to come over and state that we were wrong and the container was sealed. That was reportedly that last one so it has to be ordered. We received a refund. Everyone had an attitude. You just get the feeling that they really hate their job, forced politeness is obvious. This has to be the worst Walgreens in the state.

My wife and I moved to Alamogordo in February 2020, and we've been very happy with how friendly everyone is, including in the stores. We've also been very pleased with how good the service usually is in the stores. But this Walgreens is some strange exception. It's almost like they decided that every store employee in Alamogordo who is either unfriendly and/or incompetent is required to work at this Walgreen store. (1) Staff who either act annoyed that you need their help, or ignore you completely. (2) Mistakes in filled medications, including missing pills (hmm). (3) The latest, and last transaction there for me, was ordering something for pickup and then when getting home with the item, finding out it was an empty box. Wow. Just really, really bad.

Waited a hour to get a flu shot... don’t recommend coming here for any immunizations. If i would have known I would’ve gone on base. Front counter employees are always extremely nice though. Pharmacy not so much

You just lost a loyal customer, Walgreens. Bye, bye.
