Near highway 40 and easy to find, this basic La Quinta hits the mark perfectly for tire travelers who are looking for a decent clean place to stop and get a good night's sleep. The little market that's included in the hotel even has frozen meals that you can fix in your room if you're coming in too late for the closing times of local restaurants. Speaking of local restaurants, there's a great barbecue place literally right across street in a Denny's within walking distance. Sleep well eat well enjoy!

Great for dogs. Newer building. Very clean. Front desk was great (can't remember her name, worked Fri afternoon), 1/28). Let us store our mountain bikes in meeting room instead of leaving on the car.nOur room faced the street and train tracks and we had no problems with noise.

The one bedroom suite was so great. Pets allowed (cats too), with no pet fees either. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was nice. It was just really nice to have the extra space when you're traveling with pets. I stayed an extra night and they were able to accommodate that last minute and even gave me a discount for having AAA. I will definitely come back here next time I have to come through Gallup.n*Join the La Quinta Inn Rewards for a bit of a discount - 5% I think. If you travel a lot, especially with pets, you can rack up some points for bigger discounts.

Nice hotel, as a family traveling with 2 kids, we appreciate the suite with a separate bedroom and the mattresses are very comfortable. Unfortunately, my son is allergic to dogs and this is a dog friendly chain. However, we have often stayed at different La Quinta Inns and never had any trouble. I have concerns about how well this particular hotel cleans because my son broke out in hives after sitting on the sofa. We showered him, benadryl, and kept him off the sofa, but then in the morning he had terrible itchy eyes, sneezing, more hives, and inflamed nose. I'm thinking the blankets were used for a dog bed and not washed because my son can be at friends' houses who have inside dogs and he has never had a reaction unless he rolls around with the dog and hugs it alot (which he sometimes does because he loves animals, poor kid)
