Elk Trace Bed & Breakfast is AMAZING! The location is unbeatable since it's just a few minutes out of town nestled in the woods. We've stayed twice so far, once in a room in the Annex Building, then in the cottage. They were equally impressive. Very clean and well-kept. The main hostess is wonderful. She makes you feel very welcome by chatting with you, and she's very knowledgeable about the area and its sites and activities. Oh yeah, and she makes an awesome breakfast! We're planning another trip this summer, and we're telling others about it as well. We feel like we've found an absolute gem!
This was such an amazing place to stay. The breakfast we were served was very delicious. The owners were always so kind, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The view is so breathtaking and they have the best dog
We've stayed in many B&B's through the years, but Elktrace Lodge is by far the best. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, and caring. The accommodations lovely, beautiful views, and a super friendly dog. And we must mention that the breakfasts were outstanding, different each morning. We were also blessed to be there Christmas Day and all the guests were served a delicious Christmas dinner! So very thoughtful. Look forward to returning some day.
My husband (then fiance) first came to Elk Trace in 2019 for valentine's day when he proposed to me. It was the most beautiful place I had ever been to that we decided to return a year later and get married. The main house is gorgeous and the sleeping quarters are private and very comfortable. Evelyn is the most welcoming host you could ever ask for. All of my wedding guests could not stop raving about how much they enjoyed their stay at the property.
What hospitality! Is a beautiful setting...great rooms...and you are made to feel at home the moment you walk through the front door. Highly recommend!
