The location was good and the staff was friendly. Facilities showed some wear, but were clean and family friendly. Great for the price and close to the hot springs. A big plus! Would recommend this place. Not sure if it's a good idea to have the coffee stand in the bathroom though?
Good location. The maintenance man is very helpful and quick to respond when there's a problem in the room. The staff is friendly for the most part. Our first night there the man that was working the desk reacted negatively when I asked a question. Made me feel like I would never go back to the motel; however the others that worked the desk were professional and polite. Made my husband and I feel differently about returning.
We stay at the Hillside Inn 3-4 times every winter and have always been satisfied. But we’re not sure what the deal is lately because housekeeping has really gone downhill the last few times (and during a pandemic no less)! We realize we’re not booking the Fours but our last stay was pretty appalling - hair all over the sheets (we ended up sleeping in sleeping bags on top of the linens), “I don’t wanna know” stuff on the shower walls, a literal dirty paw print on the decorative top sheet of the bed. If the place hadn’t been full with spring breakers we would have requested another room. It’s too bad because it’s an otherwise great property (especially Judie at the front desk), they might just need to revisit SOPs with their housekeeping staff.
Clean pet friendly room. Friendly staff. COVID 19 precautions were being observed adequately. Very short drive from down town.
The young lady at reception was very friendly. This bed is super comfortable. Clean and quiet
