Bob Piva Roofing

I read good things about this roofing company and so I called for an estimate. The soonest they could come out was two weeks from my initial call, so I agreed to a Friday at 10am. At 8:30am on the date of the appointment, the man coming for the estimate called and said he actually lived in my area and asked that instead of our appointment at 10am, could he finish up his day and do the estimate on his way home at 2pm? I agreed as something had come up with me as well, so it would have worked out ok. He proceeded to ask me what I wanted to have done and told me that the waiting list to have a roof repair was over 2 months out, so if I was in a hurry to not bother. I said I'd still like an estimate and so 2pm was still a go. At 2pm, no one showed or called. At 3pm same. At 4pm, I realized he wasn't showing up and decided that I didn't want to do business with people who are so unprofessional and couldn't even bother calling. That's not the type of company I want working on any project for my home. To me, getting an estimate is like a job interview. Money doesn't matter as much as if you can prove you're professional, show up on time and we can get along. Bob Piva Roofing failed on all accounts and they will never, ever get a job from me. I will also shout from my rooftop not to trust or hire them. Bad behavior leads to bad reviews and hopefully someone will read this and save themselves the headache of not having you waste their time either.

We had them fix one half of our leaking roof and had them back when the other half developed a leak! They guarantee their work. I don't know how many companies do that.

Bob Piva replaced our 25 yo cement tile roof approximately 10 years ago. They did an excellent and professional job replacing our large (5000 sq ft single story home + garage+ large skylight covered patio). with a US Tile roof. Work was done on time and cost was reasonable. Of 4 bids they were within 10% of the lowest.nnSince then we have had them come out three times, twice for a tiny flap of torch down than came loose in a large high water flow valley (poorly designed by previous owner) and once because, we thought our complex patio skylight flashing was leaking, yet the leak was from a cracked skylight installed by another company.nnAll three times they were super-responsive and quickly remedied the roofing issue. They were also kind enough to cover the cracked skylight to stop it from leaking until repaired 4 weeks later though it was not their responsibility.nnBrian and his team are great to deal and delivery a very high quality product at a fair price. Their workers and responsive, very pleasant and professional, and careful.nnWe highly recommend them.

Using Bob Piva again. Our first experience was wonderful. Bob came out, assessed the situation, gave us a reasonable quote and a start date. The job was done as promised, on time and per quote. The second time was equally great. We developed a leak above our kitchen window during heavy rainfall and it was having a negative affect on our drywall. We called the office and Bob Piva came out the next day and assessed the situation, gave us a quote and said that due to the heavy rain falls in the area he was running about 2 to 3 weeks out on repairs. As promised, a crew of three did come out and were very efficient, and cared enough about my driveway apron to the point that they placed cardboard under the truck to prevent oil from reaching the surface. I hope that my roof will last a while, but if it doesn’t and it leaks somewhere else, I won’t hesitate to call Bob Piva Roofing again.
