We are repeat visitors to Super 8 Bowling Green North from Illinois. We called the day before we arrived. Was told the pool and hot tub were open and operating. After check-in we learned the hot tub jets weren't working and hadn't been for quite awhile. The room was comfortable and the overnight stay was quiet. Just not real happy that we were not told that the hot tub was not functioning properly when we called the day before

First of all they put us in a handicap room which was a joke for a handicap person. I’ll give them credit for making an attempt!nMold in the bathroom.nThe place must regulate the room temperature because as much as we love a cool room the ac wouldn’t produce.nTV shut off when it wanted to shut off! When we complained about it the guy said “yeah that’s the only room that the tv does that”. Oh lucky us! No offer to move us to a different room.nDingy rooms - needs a major update and cleaning.nWe slept on our robes and covered up with our own blanket.nDon’t waste your money. The reason we picked this place is we were planning on being gone most of the day at the races but it rained!!!!!!!

The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The room was not as clean as I thought it would be. I saw a cockroach and I hate them things. The chair looks nasty the carpet well let’s say I wouldn’t even take my shoes off to walk around. The mini fridge had a bad smell in it I didn’t even want to set my drink in it. My cousin stopped by for a surprise visit and asked what room I was in and the person working the desk told my cousin that they didn’t allow visitors to stop by and see people. I’m sorry but if I rent a room and a family member or a friend wants to stop and see me that is my business and they shouldn’t be told that people aren’t allowed visitors. To me that part was very rude. I didn’t go down and say anything to the worker but I doubt I’ll ever stay there again

Not a bad place to be , clean rooms, friendly staff . Most of what you need around you close. Indoor pool and spa. And most of all affordable. Would definitely recommend this hotel
