Friendly staff, nice room, good location, expensive parking
Decor and atmosphere were modern, updated and clean. Loved the bathroom mirror and vanity. A few negatives include a very loud heater/AC unit and the shower never heated fully. Nothing like a brisk cool shower in the morning to wake you up after a wrestless night.
Gave 3 stars because the hotel is not truly upgraded. Carpet, bathrooms, closets are all dated. The sinks are more modern and the beds were semi comfortable, just depending if you like a more firm mattress. Ask for a room facing the North side if you have to stay there. Like the fact it is downtown but we didn't care for the actual location of the hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal! I highly recommend something at city creek, meaning the business district.

City view is amazing! But the heat in our room barely worked, so it was rather chilly. The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to give us another room and offer extra blankets, but the situation was same. The heat would kick on for 15-20 minutes and then cold air blows out for a long time. I may not stay here again due to the heat situation. great service
