The Atlantic House Hotel

My girlfriend and I love staying here, and have many times. The view from the balcony is amazing. Breakfast is complimentary and satisfying. Look out for the toilets, they are noticeably shortnThe rooms (we've stayed in 3 different ones, our favorite one 3 times at least) are clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this place for an extended weekend getaway.

Real good check in easy check out, live the location love the porch this hotel have facing the sea... real good place to stop and stay!

VERY CLEAN EVERYWHERE IN THE HOTEL!! Masks are worn by staff and guests in common areas. No problem with water pressure, air conditioning was great, room 206 was updated, extremely comfortably, incredible ocean views from 2 huge windows. Our deck had 2 chairs and a table so we could comfortably eat our take out food, since we are still nervous about eating in restaurants. All staff helpful and accommodating. Perfect location to walk to the beach and restaurants. Lovely chairs on the expansive front lawn and a huge deck for all to enjoy if you didn't have one with your room. Highly recommend this hotel! I needed a hotel room at the last minute this past weekend and chose the Atlantic House since I have been to the other two major hotels in Narragansett (Ocean Rose Inn and Aqua Blue). Its location can't be beat, it is right across from the sea wall and ocean, and in walking distance of different types of restaurants. Close to good restaurants (Trio, Tavern on Main, Plum Pt Inn, Ocean Rose Inn's cute restaurant), a lot of parking, safe (as a female traveler), very clean rooms and facility, free coffee/continental breakfast, and welcoming, friendly staff. One of whom asked if I needed help with my bags when I was leaving. Ivan at the main desk took my reservation over the telephone on my drive to Rhode Island and was very helpful when I arrived several hours later.nWhile not as updated as the Ocean Rose, I will be coming back here when I return to Rhode Island assuming ocean view rooms are available. If you don't have an ocean view, there is a big balcony available to all guests that has three sides of views and is special due to its amazing view. My room had a separate sitting area with a tv, refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave, along with a private patio looking at the ocean. This is a place that if it was in Newport, it would be 3x the price, especially when you look forward to returning to your hotel room and opening all the curtains and windows to see the view and smell the ocean air. While the Ocean Rose Inn has some rooms overlooking the ocean and is more updated, it costs more and its bathrooms are oddly configured (to make the most of the space) and it is not easy to use the faucets. You get much more value and a welcoming feel with the Atlantic House, with its bigger rooms and views.

Overall our stay was terrific. Amazing location and view (reserved a room with an ocean view). Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Covid kinda put a damper on the scene, but that was expected.nnThe staff was super courteous. Rooms were comfortable. They were a little dated, but I was digging the accommodations for sure. I would definitely stay here again.
