Sheppard's Place Bed & Breakfast

We loved our stay at the Sheppard’s Place. It is a block away from the beach, cozy, homey, and gives you that at-home feel. The owner and son were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean, had a cozy bed with our own bathroom. They have a patio to enjoy the outdoors. Overall we were happy we stayed there. - Jackie C. & Genderson E.

The place was clean comfortable atmosphere. The owner is a sweetheart, and Angelo is very helpful and jolly.

The Sheppards Place bed and breakfast is a gem - we were so happy with our experience and will absolutely return next year, maybe sooner if we can. We booked it last minute and Patti was so accommodating and helpful. On the phone, she talked through the covid cleaning protocols and answered all of my questions. They were booked for some of nights we wanted to stay so she upgraded us to the suite and it was such a beautiful and comfortable space, with ocean views from the private deck. Breakfast on the patio every morning was healthy and filling.nnPatti and Antonio were so kind and friendly, and they both worked hard to ensure that we had a great stay. Antonio gave recommendations for food and activities to do (Crazy Burger for a local dinner and Fort Wetherill for the views). He was always available when we needed something or had a question while always respecting our privacy and space. Perfect hospitality!nnThe location was really wonderful too - only a short walk to the beach and quick bike ride or car ride to other beaches and the Block Island ferry (a great day trip!). Monahan’s is super close and has the best seafood - we ate there twice! The only downfall about the area is that a lot of places close early and there doesn’t seem to be much of a nightlife scene.nnLastly, Patti’s place is a traditional bed and breakfast, accepting phone and email reservations only. It’s expected that if you make a reservation and cannot make it, you give a courtesy call rather than simply not showing so they can make the room available to someone else. During our visit, it seemed that some folks didn’t show and Patti had so kindly left their rooms reserved for them. This place is a gem and needs those bookings to get through these challenging times. Please be courteous when booking your stay!

My Sister and sister-in-law's stayed in Sheppard's Suite a few weeks ago while celebrating my nieces bachelorette weekend. We stayed in the Suite and loved it! The owner is pleasant and accommodating.nThe suite had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The back yard is like an oasis, with a nice deck.nShort walk to the ocean and have recommended to family and fiends.
