The Dean Hotel

My partner and I were here oh, about 6 years ago to enjoy coffee at Bolt. We promised to return for an overnight. We had a lovely one night stay to celebrate my upcoming b day. The hotel is artsy hip. COVID protocols prevailed. The art throughout is fantastic. Our king room was spacious and comfy. Bedding was a little off; super high pillows and unfitted bottom sheet making a big mess all night, with every turn. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower and great apothecaries. We had a wonderful stay, our first hotel overnight in over a year. Service was flawless. A memorable pre birthday interlude was enjoyed.

Attentive staff and clean room! Only complaints are that there isn't a mini fridge in the room, lack of storage options and tiny shower. Staff was great, they brought us up a table so that we could eat & play a card game! Bunk beds in room were fun+ great heavy blanket!

Liked this hotel, very cute and charming. And they welcome my dog, which goes a long way with me. But, last time I was there the front desk manager acted rude towards me when I came in and tripped on the threshold and stumbled in the lobby. I was a little tipsy cuz I’m on a vacation and I laughed at myself, which seemed to annoy him. He raised and eyebrow and asked Are you okay? in this really condescending tone. It rubbed me the wrong way. Dont be a jerk front desk person, let people live.

Very nice modern hotel with a touch of rustic style. Clean and spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful.

I feel that the design and concept is great but there are things that don't work well. The shower got water all over the bathroom, the room was so small and there was no fridge.
