I would have given 5 stars because the hotel was very clean, comfortable and updated BUT the front desk attendant was rude and not personable at all. He seemed very bothered by the guests waiting to check in. He did not talk to the guest, but instead pointed to things. At the end we kind of sat there and had to ask if we were all set and he said yes, you are free to go. He didnt say where our room was, not to have a good stay or anything. Its a shame to have such a sour experience from the get go when the hotel itself is very nice. Im hoping he awarded my bonus points for being an elite choice hotels member because he didnt even ask me about them! I would not let this one person deter someone from staying here though.

We stayed here for the first time in December 2013 on our way from Texas to Michigan. This will now be our official stopping point. We are a military family and this place is owned by an American Veteran. When we arrived there, they gave us a really great price on a room. We were prepared to just have a bed and TV, but when we got there, it was a Jacuzzi suite. They gave us a huge discount on the room because we are military. The rooms are very clean and extremely spacious. It was almost as if we were staying at a Marriott. They are also pet friendly and do not charge ridiculous pet fees. If you are in the area, we definitely recommend staying here.

The front personnel were courteous and helpful. We carried our own luggage (we are senior citizens) to elevator to the second floor to get to our room. When I first walked in I noticed the carpet was nasty and when i entered the bathroom i noticed the tub had mold collected around the wall portion. The breakfast was good. Check out personnel at front desk were friendly. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!! It needs to be overhauled bigtime!!

The staff was very friendly, they had a nice breakfast and the food was pretty good, room was pleasent and clean, ONLY one problem I can speak of is that their Parking lot is quite tight for larger vehicles I drive a large van for work and It was difficult to park and if you're the kind of person who HAS to be able yo see their vehicle when parked at a hotel it'll be kinda hard since the parking lot is divided into 2 smaller lots and a back lot that can fit tucks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone so long as you aren't paranoid about your vehicle. There is a small bar connected to a hotel around the area and the police circle through the lot often, is what I was told so that did help ease me a little.
