I have traveled the world. Staying here was one of my most extraordinary experiences of all those extensive travels.nIt is a casual riverside venue not fancy yet so genuine and well run with a loving and attentive owner and staff at the ready to fulfill your every wish.nThe breathtaking view cannot be described from the many decks overlooking the banks of the mighty Ohio River. The live music and on site bar just add to the fun and ambience.nDon't miss out on this amazing unparalled riversidenone of a kind adventure.nI just hope you can wake up on a high deck to watch the fog rolling in from the river early in the morning. (Yet, I almost hesitate to share such a unique hidden gem).nThe owner found this spot and gave it new life. We showed up without a reservation and even though they were booked up the staff found us a room and let us check in early. The room was small but perfect for what we needed. The staff are genuinely friendly people that make you feel like you've known them forever. The views were beautiful. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
What a stay! Kathy and Terry run a great op. Room 121 was wonderful. The live music, bar, pool, and epic view created a relaxing, memorable stay. The proximity to town was ideal. Our Saturday night, riverfront booking was worth every every penny paid! This place is as amazing as the town it belongs to.
I thought this was a charming little hotel. Room size was great, staff was remarkable and super friendly. The deck area overlooking the river and bridge is fantastic. It was a little chilly the night we stayed so a staff member helped us get one of the fire tables going. Full bar in the lobby was a plus.nI'd give it 5 stars except for three things. We were told we would have two Queen beds but we had two Full beds. Also there was some mustiness to the room. Other than that the room was very clean. The main picture here of the pool is a bit deceptive. It's is not much bigger than a large Jacuzzi. No matter, we will definitely be back when we come back to Madison and Clifty Falls.
