Asked for a quiet room away from elevators and ice machines and was placed right next to the ice machine. Moved to a second room that had hot scalding water coming out of both the hot and cold faucets at the sink and in the shower. Not sure how that is possible but that's what we had. After traveling from the West Coast to Cleveland and exhausted from our trip all we wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. However what started at 8:41 at check in was still unresolved by 11 p.m. as we still were in the same room with scalding water. Amazingly the hotel was nearly empty and parking lot had only a handful of cars so we knew there were plenty of rooms available. However after nearly two and a half hours the front desk person was unable to figure out how to place us in a quiet room with both hot and cold water. At this point my wife and I simply packed our bags and checked into the Marriott next door and got a wonderful shower and a good night's sleep. This was the worst hotel experience we've had in over 50 years of personal and corporate travel. Shameful!
Reminded me of hostel hotel..dark like a dungeon...empty no movement..

The place is fine. But it's old. Run down. And there are about a dozen hotels within a half mile built within the last 5 years. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Even if you're chasing Hilton points, they have other brands nearby, too.
