We were there in 2017 but I'm finally giving a review. We had the best experience! We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves and after a two-week trip flying our plane on a history tour ( 2 countries, 11 cities in two weeks), this was by far one of the highlights and relaxing places we went. The woman and husband who own it were more than delightful and OMG the food was AWESOME! Homemade jam, farm fresh eggs from their family's chickens, homemade biscuits and the rest was delicious! They led us to a restaurant for dinner close by down the road from where the tree used to be in The Shawshank Redemption was filmed (the end where he finds the box). We visited the prison in Mansfield down the road where the movie was filmed and other movies were filmed. They sent us to dinner at a historic place nearby, can't remember the name but it was probably one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The B&B's family photos in the cabin were so fun to see and just a quaint, quiet, special place to go!
Very nice place to stay. Location in on a farm out in the country.people that run it are very nice.
Awesome experience! Beautiful old home! People are so nice! She is a fantastic cook! Great desserts! Great breakfast!
