Red Roof Inn Dayton South - Miamisburg

I have visited this hotel a few times and my stay was very nice. The room was clean, smoke free, pet friendly, staff friendly, quiet, affordable and love the Red Roof Reward program!!! Easy location, close to the mall. You have my 5 star review

So far it's good. Needs laundry for guest! And there was a question why I was charged $8 to $10 more for the week then my reservation on booking.com said. Front desk girl didn't know why. Contacted bookings.com. They contacted them and was told it's a $10 booking fee or something like that. Said it would be refunded when we checkout. Will see, we checkout Monday.

Dirt. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty.nnPut me in a smoke out non smoking room. The smell irritated me so much I was coughing and sneezing the next morning. I'm glad it was just for a night. I couldn't wait to leave. The bath tub wasn't even clean. Quarter of a roll of toilet paper. The wash clothes and towels had black stains on them. This place needs to be shut down.

The room REEKED! It smelled so bad we could hardly sleep and It wasn't very clean. The girl at the front desk was polite but the quality of the room was AWFUL. There was a stain on the bed and on a towel, not sure what got cleaned but it honestly felt like nothing did. Will never go back to this place.... They also have a sign that says you have 15 minutes to call about your room and they do not give refunds or free nights. If that doesn't tell you about the quality of the hotel I don't know what will...

If I could give zero stars, I would based on the lack of customer service and willingness to work with the customer. I made a reservation on 11/16 at around 930 pm. I must have been super tired,  because I didn't notice that I was booking the reservation for that night instead of the following week like I intended.  I didn't realized this until the next day when I checked my bank transactions and saw that my card was charged. I immediately called and got a young lady who told me I needed to speak with the manager and to call back later that day. I called back and the same young lady told me the manager would not refund the charge.  I called back the next day to try again and I believe I was speaking directly to the manager and he explained the policy which I already understand and simply told me since I didn't cancel before the cutoff time, I could not get a refund. (Even though the reservation was made after the cut off time). I even asked if it was possible to get a partial credit for my next stay and was also told no.  I tried to escalate this through Red Roof customer service and just got a response that they also will not refund the charge. I understand the error was my fault, which is why I would have been satisfied with even half my of my money refunded. This is just company greed to me. I am very disappointed and will not recommend Red Roof to anyone.
