Stayed in rooms 408 and 307 at the Hampton Inn near the Dayton Mall last weekend for the Easter holiday. Booked a 3-night stay (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and had to leave early Saturday morning and stay somewhere else due to a major rodent problem in the walls that kept my husband and I up both nights (thank goodness our kids slept through it.) Reported the problem to Brian the manager Friday morning - remedy was to switch to another room on the other side of the building for Friday and Saturday night. Was woken again by rodents scurrying about in the walls in the middle of the night so reported the problem again to on-site management (Rose) at 4am Saturday morning and notified her that we would not be staying for our 3rd night. Rose was empathetic, said she would pass this info along to Jason (upper management), and discount our stay. Checked out Saturday morning and was charged in full for both nights. Brian was the manager on-site at the time of checkout and did not say a word about our leaving the hotel early.nnWe have stayed at this specific Hampton Inn a few times. The staff has always been nice and the grounds/rooms have been acceptable. This experience, however, was not acceptable.
The level of care put into letting you know your room has been cleaned and sanitized was above excellent. Beautiful and spacious rooms with very comfy beds. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and professional.
This place was Great. The staff was extremely nice and courteous. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I had a Fabulous stay
Every time I come to Dayton Ohio, I try to stay here. The people are nice and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. It I close to everything with easy access to all the major highways.
The hotel was immaculately cleaned The staff was very kind and helpful. We were able to get a late check out No problem. All safety guidelines for covet were being followed by the staff and the room had a seal on it that is put on after they sanitized a room. I would recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in Dayton Ohio.
