Room was clean. Neighbors were loud but, not overnight. Plenty of towels & everything looked clean. Nice room. Queen suite. Needed a mask & cork remover....front desk had both! Reasonable price for the night. Would go back.
I stayed in the Summer of 2020 except for a sorry moment; a mammy doing mammy things (lack of parental skills observed) it was wonderful! I had a smoking Queen studio which was very clean and spacious with all amenities there's even DVD players with free movie rentals my granddaughter loved it! Im in Polaris again for Easter travel as a 1 night stay...guess where? Thank you for your courtesy this will be my go to when in Columbus.
Desk attendants were friendly. Room needed better cleaning. No coffee in room.nDid the least amount of snow removal they could get away with.nCandlewood Suites are usually better than this.nNot horrible but not the best.n3.5 rating out of 5.
Planned to stay here for a few days. Great rate and location. When I got to the hotel, I was a little disappointed. The place looked really run down from the parking lot, especially for a name brand IHG place. Check in was fine. Walking to my room, all the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke or weed, even though the rooms were nonsmoking. Common areas were all kind of dirty. My room was also grimy, it had been vacuumed, but everything just looked like it needed to be scrubbed. The room also smelled like a vet’s office- like animals had been in there and the carpets and furniture really needed a cleaning. I decided not to stay and got a different hotel. Front desk didn’t give me a hard time about it, which was good.
I'm very picky when it comes to hotels, and this one definitely met my standards. Nice, spacious, clean rooms. Front desk staff was friendly.nThe people complaining about how the shampoo/conditioner is set up have clearly never been on a cruise. I prefer the way this hotel has the shampoo/conditioner because it's honestly not as wasteful.nWould definitely come back here, especially for the price.nGiving it 4 stars because the garbage disposal didn't smell very pleasant.
