Doral Arrowwood Resort

The facility is fine and good for corporate events. However, it is very dated. They maintain the property well but it is a bit of a time warp going into that place. The food has always been OK for the group as a whole and we did enjoy hanging out in the bar at the hotel.

The Staff, Restaurant and Sports Center were AWESOME!! Our room was simply delightful. My wife and I are making plans to go back!!

The staff was awesome and friendly...stayed on 1st floor with a patio that had an open field for puppy to roam around..Our room was clean., it has a charm to the place..the breakfast was good this morning.., it has a few quirks because of age like elevator, and a few other things maybe paint here and there but I didn't get to roam place or grounds ..so can't honestly say anything else, but I feel sorry for the staff cause the place is closing..it's ashamed that this is happening cause so many people have so many memories... And special occasions..some of the staff have been there for years.. some guests are regulars and are more like family..am privileged to have been able to enjoy this beautiful place where it was peaceful & pray that this landmark and everyone will be able to continue to do what they love & hopefully when I come back to New York this place is still available along with the wonderful people I had the honor of meeting

Great location, great price and value. Love walking along the golf course. Although the rooms were always clean and the staff is welcoming and attentive, the property needs updating. This is our go to hotel when we travel with our dogs. Pet friendly rooms have sliding doors that make it easy to walk the dogs without the need to go through the hallways. I recommend this hotel.

In September 2010, my dad brought our family to the Doral Arrowwood Resort. I was younger then and I was too young to actually notice the technicalities that most of these reviews are mentioning. All I know is that it holds memories of happier times with my dad. I appreciated taking a vacation away from our house and was fascinated by practically everything. I do agree that the outlets were a bit difficult to use though. The food was good and the pool area was very nice. I find it sad that they are closing down. It's quite sentimental to me.
