I called to see if I could get on a waitlist for a bike. I know there’s a national bike shortage and it’s almost impossible to get a bike until 2021 but I took a chance as I’m in Larchmont often and I remembered the shop.nnAndrew was a joy to work with. I told him over the phone what I was looking for and he happened to have 2 bikes in my size in stock. I came over and he made me test each bike to ensure I was comfortable, helped me choose one, made sure it was the perfect fit and he even helped set up my bike rack. They do free tuneups for the life of the bike. While I was there several people dropped off their bikes and he said they would be ready on the same day. It’s a tiny little bike shop but run by the friendliest people. It’s not that close to where I live but well worth the drive. In contrast, I had terrible experience with Danny’s in Scarsdale where I was treated very poorly by a young woman who didn’t even size/fit the bike to me and basically told me to adjust it myself if I had an Allen wrench, didn’t offer to put a kickstand on it and didn’t ask if I needed help loading it into the car. When I look at the service I received at 10538 bicycles compared to Danny’s, I know where I’m going to go from now on. People say ‘buy the shop, not the bike’ so I’m only going to 10538 from now on.

Joelle and Andrew are friendly, honest, and great. I bought my bike from here and will continue to come back from service, as they give good, honest prices, and both have great personalities. They, along with every other bike shop right now, are very busy — take that into consideration and be friendly, you’ll have an amazing experience here. Thank you again!!!

After having a pleasant experience getting a tire fixed. I asked about a brake replacement on another bike I have. I was told no problem they could fix it, bring it in next week. So I fixed the flat on the bike and rode it over there with no brakes mind you several miles only to be told they could not take my bike. Are you serious! Several miles on a 90 degree day you told me to bring it and now you can't take it wow, bring it back next week and maybe. He said maybe, I had to ride it back home with no brakes and find another shop. Go to Millers folks the people are just as nice and actually need your business.

As I've posted before, the service is exceptional, the prices are reasonable and we're lucky to have this wonderful shop in our town.
