Oak Park Resort Marina

So very happy to have spent quality time with my boys. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and having the pool, hot tub and bay there was so nice. I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the glider bench chair overlooking the bay every morning. Can't wait to stay again at this beautiful place.

If you are looking for that perfect venue for your next occasion look no further. The service is top notch, the views are amazing and best of all their pricing is very reasonable.

The view of the water is gorgeous but unfortunately you can’t see the view very well from the cabins that are tucked back by the woods behind a couple parking lots with a partial view of the lake. When I booked the cabins I thought that they would be more on the water then they were. The cabins are built very nicely and are clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is in the cabins including utensils, plates and blankets . The reason that I only gave it two stars was because the service was very poor . The restaurant took a couple hours to bring us our food the first night we came in. The next day we had lunch there and even though the sign said it was open no one came to greet us so we left the restaurant and came back later. It took a very long time for us to get our food and we were the only ones eating. The restaurant did not have a liquor license yet so one day we did not get any alcoholic beverages the next day they were able to serve alcohol beverages because apparently a wedding was going on. The beer was very warm. I am not sure what took so long on the food. As far as the staff running the park I only met one young man who was very helpful but seemed very overwhelmed with all the tasks he had to take on including checking people into the cabins and helping with the marina. The pool was our favorite part about the park we used it a lot although most of the time the sign was up saying it was “closed” and the hot tub was very cold and broken when we were there. We payed $250 a night and did not think it was worth it due to the poor service which is very disappointing considering it’s such a beautiful place.
