What a wonderful and charming place this is. Starting from the house and the hosts to the animals and the hills that surround the place. Great biking and tons of gravel roads all around this place also.

This place, and the people who run it, are delightful. House built in 1790, but quite comfortable and cozy.

Stayed with Charlie and Aggie for the New Year's weekend with several friends of ours. Certainly a boisterous bunch, tons of credit goes to these wonderful people for accommodating us and our needs.nThe home is beautiful and much of it retains the rustic quality one would expect from an older home, while modern amenities such as heated bathroom floors and the ever important coffee machine do not leave us for want.nThe food that was made by Charlie and Aggie was incredible. fresh ingredients that led to a wonderful breakfast.nnAnyone heading Upstate for a getaway I would highly recommend giving the Hopkins House a chance!nThanks again Charlie, we will certainly be staying with you next time we come up!!

Charlie and Aggie welcomed us into their home like family. We stayed with a large group of friends for New Year's and woke up to good conversation and food which went above and beyond expectations. Everything from fresh ground coffee, to raspberries and fresh fruit, local yogurt, granola, french toast, bacon and spinach and kale omelette, and Charlie's company was highly enjoyed during breakfast. The house was beautiful, spacious, filled with antiques, books, and plant life. Bathroom's and shower were pristine, bed's were fluffy, comfortable, and had heating blankets that were fun to cuddle up under even though the house was a very comfortable temperate.nWe had so much fun can't wait to come back!

When we were searching places to stay we came across this farm B&B. Wonderful old farm home, out in the country. So quite, could here the crickets at night. The nights were so cool, no air conditioning was needed. The host were very sweet, and hospitable!! Would definitely go again!! Felt very comfortable, better than home!!nThe room was so nice and comfortable too! Charlie made us a wonderful breakfast both mornings!
