Diest Haus

Awesome. Jalapeño poppers. Cats galore. A dog. Two ladies (well women, anyway), a dog and some hipster dude with a name I cannot say. The cats alone are worth the experience!

Very odd place... There are supposedly 4 cats but I only ever see one. He seems friendly, but then strikes when you least suspect it. The meals seem to consist basically of jalapeno poppers and that's about it. The beer selection is excellent, always stocked with a solid selection of IPAs. The pony smells like skunk but is otherwise friendly. The man of the house appears to be an authentic townie but has a strange predilection for vintage computers; possibly a mad scientist in hiding? The servant does not seem to know her place and routinely leaves her quarters to mingle with the guests. The baby is adorable, of course, and makes nitchka faces on demand. I would probably avoid this place unless you are an aspiring COBOL programmer.
