Frogs Way Bed & Breakfast

Long story short: We were told the morning of our reservation that they were double-booked, and that our reservation was cancelled.nnAt the end of July my boyfriend and I decided to book Frog’s Way for two nights, August 24-26. We used Glamping Hub to book. On July 31st, we received confirmation via Glamping Hub and Elan (the owner), and the funds were taken out of our bank account.nnOn the morning of August 24th, five hours before we were supposed to check in, we got an email from Elan that they had booked someone else for the entire week, who hadn’t used Glamping Hub, and had “forgotten” that they had booked them. We were informed that our reservation was cancelled. We had emailed Elan on Friday the 21st to touch base with them, as we hadn’t heard from them since the confirmation email, and got no response. Same with the phone call on the day before (although it was Sunday, and we did not leave a message since we figured they wouldn’t get it until Monday anyways).nnTo their credit, Elan did make a few phone calls to other rental places and offered some suggestions of where else to stay. And (after some minor confusion), a refund was given within the day.nnI recommend if you decide to book this place, through whatever booking platform, that you are more proactive about confirming your reservation. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was a pretty big one.

Very friendly and cool concept. However, bed and breakfast is a stretch. It is essentially a bedroom in their unlocked basement. It was a nice room, just not necessarily what we were expecting.

Elan is a very warm and welcoming host. He's very helpful with recommendations and information. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, with a fully-stocked cupboard and fridge. We'll be coming back.

Lovely

This little b&b is a two-room apartment in the ground floor of a home in the Ithaca Ecovillage. It is quiet, clean, and comfortable- a real gem!
