Stay far away. Brought my bike to get new brake levers installed. Within 5 minutes of picking up the bike the lines popped off the levers. Had to bring the bike back and come to find out they damaged the levers during installation. Waited 3 months to get the bike back. Had to bring my bike to another shop because the rear brakes were spongy. Come to find out they installed the cable incorrectly. You might as well bring your bike to a diner for repair. They'll be just as clueless.

I had not heard of this store or been there but my first experience was exceptional for what it was. Called up and a guy Rich answered. Sounded hurried but kind and answered my question.. Even told us he'd take of us same day. Knowing how other stores are not even answering the phones this was satisfying. Pulled up.. Placed is outdated compared to others but they know bike repairs. He did it same day.. Great job too man honest. No upsell and made my daughter thrilled to get back on her Giant road bike. Thank you rich!

Growing up in Smithtown I purchased many bikes form The Cycle Company. This evening we got there at 6:00 right after work and it looked like they were closing up. Based on Google it says they close at 6:30, the man was very rude and snarky saying to me don’t believe everything you read on the internet. He simply could have said thank you and I would have even helped him update his Google business hours as a kind gesture. I was so excited to be able to have my daughter get her first bike there and two new bikes for both my wife and myself. My kids were asking me why the man wasn’t going to help us as they were excited to be able to get bikes too. However I will not be giving them business. Regardless of price or longevity of a business they should remember a client first mentality to treat people with kindness instead of rude comments. Please be aware their hours are wrong online. They close promptly at 6:00 pm. If you are the business owner reading this, please just go to you page and edit the hours, instead of 9-6:30 change to 9:00-6:00.
